METHODOLOGY

Alert and Initial Assessment

  • Incident Notification: LSDS is alerted to a critical incident and promptly gathers key details.

  • Initial Coordination: This includes assessing risks, establishing communication with your Crisis Management Team, confirming contacts and authorizations, and submitting initial report.

Planning, Mobilization, and Communication

  • Situation Analysis: LSDS evaluates the crisis and initiates a tailored response plan, then manages the situation through resolution.

  • Communication Strategy: A clear plan for regular updates and priority notifications is established for all stakeholders.

  • Resource Mobilization: LSDS will gather necessary information and mobilize a dedicated team for support, including medical, travel, and extraction if needed.

Post-Incident Review and Closeout

  • Lessons Learned: A review meeting is conducted to discuss procedures and improvements.

  • Establish check-ins: Casualty and family follow-ups will be conducted to ensure unified reintegration.

  • Final Closeout: After Action Report is shared with stakeholders, 1:1s with leaders, and records are sealed.
