The Situation:
Fridays for Future has called for another global climate strike, referred to as Global Strike 4
Future, on Friday, 29 November 2019. Over 5,000 demonstrations are expected around the
world on this Global Day of Climate Action.
The intention of the demonstrations is to gear up for the 2019 United Nations Climate
Change Conference, also known as COP25, that will be held from 2-13 December 2019.
An estimated 6 million people participated in a similar series of demonstrations around the
globe from September 20th to 27th .
Supporting organizations and unions may use this time to push additional agendas.

Possible Effects:
Blocked roads due to protests/riots
Increased traffic, especially near city centers and government buildings
Protests and demonstrations, which will likely draw large crowds
Limited transportation services, especially throughout major cities
Increased presence of security personnel, such as local police
Mitigating Factors to Apply:
Avoid all protests and large crowds, which have the possibility of turning violent
Allow extra time for travel
Prepare for disruptions caused by public transportation strikes and protests
Avoid traveling through city centers, instead utilizing bypasses
Monitor local and social media for updates
