The Situation:
Anti-government protests will be held in several cities across the Czech Republic on
Monday, 21 May, to demand the independence of the judiciary and the resignation of the
Minister of Justice, Marie Benešová. Protesters are expected to gather at 18:30 (local time)
in larger cities, including Brno, outside government buildings
Heightened security measures and localized traffic disruptions are to be anticipated near
all demonstration sites.

Blocked roads due to protests/marches or parallel strikes
Increased traffic, especially near city centers and government buildings

Mitigating Factors to Apply:
Avoid all protests and large crowds, which have the possibility of turning violent
Allow extra time to travel
Avoid traveling through city centers and take bypasses
Monitor local and social media for updates
