LSDS PRACTICAL SURVIVAL SKILLS - HOLIDAY SAFETY AT HOME - DAY FIVE

Hanging at home for the holiday? We’ve got you covered with the Final Day of our Practical Survival Skills to ensure your comfort and safety at home. Today’s risk mitigation measures:

Locate Your House’s Emergency Water Shut-Off Valve!

Winter weather can lead pipes to freeze and then burst. Nothing like racing around with a waterfall in the kitchen to learn (too late for all of your decorations and furniture) that the shut-off valve is located in the pantry.

Want to practice a bit of practical risk mitigation to prevent your pipes from freezing when the weather outside is frightful? Insulate your pipes, let your faucets drip, and keep the temperature inside your house above 55°F.

Whether your plans involve a travel adventure or a holiday hang at home, we’ve got you covered from start to finish. Visit www.lsds.us to learn more about what LSDS can provide for you.
