Prep for Winter Wonderland Weather
Mother Nature is still calling the shots, so make sure you know what to expect on the road and at your destination:
Check the weather forecast along your route. Big winter storm forecast? Consider pushing your trip to the right or left to avoid delays and dangerous driving conditions.
Bring enough warm blankets, hats, and gloves for everyone in the car.
Pack extra emergency water and snacks for everyone in the vehicle, including pets.
Stow a bag of salt and/or cat litter in case you get stuck on ice.
Get a good ice scraper and keep it in your car at all times.
