The China Meterological Administration issued blue-level warnings for portions of southern Zhejian, western and northern central Fujian, eastern and southern Jiangxi, southern Hunan, central and northern Guangxi, and central and northern Guangdong. Thunderstorms with rounds of strong winds, heavy rainfall, and possible hail are forecast to occur across portions of southern China through at least late May 17.
