The Situation:
Multiple unions representing Air Italy staff have announced a four-hour strike planned for
Wednesday, 10 July. Workers nationwide are expected to strike from 12:00 until 16:00
hours. Delays, modified timetables, and last-minute cancelations are possible, particularly
during the work stoppage.
Transportation-related strikes are frequent in Italy and can be highly disruptive. However,
in accordance with Italian law, minimum levels of services must be guaranteed during all
industrial and social actions.

Possible protests or demonstrations at airports
Traffic delays and/or blocked roads
Delayed or cancelled flights
Mitigating Factors to Apply:
Avoid all protests and demonstration, which have the possibility of turning violent
Check with airline to confirm flight status before departure
Allow extra time for travel
Monitor local media and news for updates
