Storms in Europe:

◦       Expected increase in severe storms this week.

◦       Flooding anticipated in northern Italy, France, and Hungary.

◦       Germany experienced flooding last week.

 

Protests, Strikes, and Gatherings


“Rise Up Sing Out” Gathering:

◦       Scheduled for June 14 in New York City.

◦       Currently only in NYC, but additional locations may be announced.

◦       Not a protest, but a significant gathering; potential for associated impacts.

◦       Multiple large activities expected globally on June 14; an alert likely to be issued


Labor Strikes:

Italy:

  • National railroad strike occurred on May 30–31.

  • More strikes anticipated over the next two weeks.

Spain:

  • Air Traffic Controller strike continues into its seventh week, disrupting travel especially at peak times.

US Gas Prices:
