PRACTICAL SURVIVAL SKILLS - HOLIDAY AIR TRAVEL TIPS - PART II

Flying the friendly skies for the holiday? We’ve got you covered! If you haven’t listened to Risk Mitigation Team experts Laura and Stacy sharing their very best tips for safe, smooth, and sane holiday travel, stop what you are doing and visit https://www.lsds.us/risk-mitigation-team-podcasts to listen to their podcast now. Next, review yesterday’s Holiday Air Travel Tips - Part I post, then engage the following practical risk mitigation activities to ensure your comfort and safety in the air:

- Bring Lots of Extra Masks

Carrying extra masks is always good practice these days, but particularly so at the airport - don’t let a lost or ripped mask ruin your trip! Pack lots of extras for yourself and any travel partners who might need one in a pinch.

- Allow Plenty of Time at the Airport

This is not the year to try to medal in the Airport Parking Security Line Dash to the Gate Race. Allow plenty of time to park, get checked-in, wait in line at security, and enjoy a leisurely stroll to your gate.

- Download Your Airline App

Add your airline app to save time, check-in, reduce contact, and receive regular updates about your departure, gate changes, and other important flight information.

- Build a Backup Plan!

Have a plan in place to manage canceled flights, changes in COVID-19 testing and entry requirements, wild weather events, your phone running out of battery life right before you are ready to board the plane, lost luggage, and more!

Whether your plans involve a travel adventure or a holiday hang at home, we’ve got you covered from start to finish. Visit www.lsds.us to learn more about what LSDS can provide for you.
